To date, over 350 equity campaigns have been successfully funded across North America and Europe since the start of 2017. This constitutes almost $390 million in additional equity for projects across 45 crowdfunding platforms.
In terms of funding rate (% of total campaigns successfully funded), campaigns in Real Estate (75%), Media (74%) and Transportation (74%) were most successful. The three largest industries in terms of both total funding and deals were Capital Goods ($105m), Technology & Hardware ($71m) and Real Estate ($71m).
PropertyPartner (real estate) helped raise £679,500 for a 2-unit block in London, while RideLink (transportation) raised over £1m through Seedrs. Notable platforms with high funding success include Housers (Spain, 92% successful, 12 campaigns), SwissLending(Switzerland, 100% successful, 14 campaigns), SoCrowd (Belgium, 100% successful, 18 campaigns), and Green Rocket (Austria, 100% successful, 5 campaigns).
