CAMFI, the global Crowdfunding & Marketplace Finance Index, measured 92.97 for October 2017, slightly up from September 2017.
Overall, October CAMFI’s three sub-indices all decreased, with Debt Sub-Index being a major driver behind the sluggishness. Globally, the crowdfunding and marketplace finance industry continued in the same vein as the summer, with CAMFI registering below 100 for 5 months. Debt marketplaces were the main driver of CAMFI’s subdued value in October, with scale measures contributing to this effect. Rewards markets showed volatility in efficiency relative to last month.
