Exciting news here at TAB this week, as we announce the appointment of Craig Rowland as our new SVP Global Field Operations. Craig will have direct responsibility for TAB’s commercial strategy and he is someone that will add a lot to the company as we embark on our next phase of growth.
Craig brings to us more than 20 years of experience in the software industry in both the US, and joins from Backstop Solutions Group. This provided the industry's first Software-as-a-Service platform designed to help firms in the alternative investment management industry operate efficiently, invest intelligently and communicate effectively, so there is much he can bring to the table at TAB.
Craig himself is excited to be joining the team at TAB, commenting:
“With alternative finance on the cusp of a major boom, TAB is uniquely placed to offer unparalleled market insight and help advance that growth. I’m joining a company that has powerful technology, a great team and a real window of opportunity - I can’t wait to start bringing some of our plans to life.”
We have already agreed a partnership with China-focused fintech big data firm BBD UK earlier this year to launch the world’s first Global Crowdfunding Index, and Craig will be seeking other partnerships to expands TAB’s global reach. The US is a priority market, and part of Craig’s remit will be to set up TAB’s first US office.
Prior to joining TAB, Craig has spent the last 17 years successfully helping US and UK based software and technology companies set up and grow their operations in the EMEA/APAC regions, so his experience is a fantastic fit for the role at TAB.
Furthermore, he has fantastic contacts and expertise within the finance sector, and in particular the alternative investment community. We have ambitious growth targets over the next 12 months and Craig will be a significant asset to us as we look to hit those targets, helping to make TAB synonymous with data intelligence on the alternative finance market.
Away from the office, Craig is a keen mountain biker and a massive sports fan. As a native Canadian he still follows ice hockey but has also grown to love the delights of cricket!
