CAMFI increased to 100.41 in November 2017 from 92.97 in October 2017. A measure above 100 is one of expansion and it's the first month since CAMFI was launched that the market as a whole has smashed the 100 threshold.
Looking into what's driving this overall health increase and the story is a mixed one. Despite the noise and relative volume of the debt markets, they remain sluggish, the debt sub-index not reaching 100, but hovering below at 99.06. Equity slumped below 90 pulling the overall health of the market index down.
