The overview page on Track allows you to answer the questions you have about the crowd finance industry's growth. To get the most relevant insight to your fundraise, be sure to create your own filters, which will refine the intelligence to cover previous raises that you want to learn from. Industry activity 

Use this chart to investigate the levels of activity happening across the industry. Use the drop down menus to view variations in the number of fundraises and the amount raise across different time periods. 

Edit your filter to see how this activity changes by purpose of funding, funding types, platforms and more.

 

Cumulative growth 

See the cumulative growth of the crowd finance industry. Edit your filter to see how the growth changes by purpose of funding, funding types, platforms and more.

 

Platforms 

This view allows you to find out 'who are the active platforms in the segment of the market I am analysing?'. View this platform activity based upon the number of fundraises, the total amount raised and the average amounts raised by these platforms.

 

Funding categories 

This chart allows you to answer 'what type of crowd finance is being used?'. Analyse which types of crowd financing have been the most popular, the total amount each funding types has contributed and the typical amount those using different types of crowd receive. 

Each funding category is explained in the filters guide under funding categories.

 

Fundraise distribution 

By selecting the amount pledged to campaign in the x axis, you can answer the question 'what size of investments have the crowd been making?' 

By selecting campaign goal in the x axis, you are able to answer the question 'what levels of investment are being sought by those using crowd finance?' Use the toggle at the bottom of the chart to analyse both successful and unsuccessful campaigns. For both views, the Y axis drop-down allows you to change the chart to show results by amount raised or by number of campaigns. You can also see average and median figures. Be sure to click on the bars within the chart to view the individul campaigns.

 

Funding Status 

This chart allows you to answer 'what is the fundraising success rate across the industry?' 

Be sure to edit the filter, to see how the success rate changes dependent upon the type of funding used, the amounts raised or targeted, in different locations and on different platforms. 

You may also find that the time of fundraise impacts funding rate.

Use the stats tables to get a breakdown of the core statistics about your search.

The platform directory allows you to study over 2,000 crowd finance marketplaces.

 

Exploring individual platforms 

To get a better understanding of a platform, click on the platform name. Your view will expand to give you more details about the platform (including location, web address, specialisms, launch date and more). Where available we also allow you to see the aggregate statistics about the platform's activity and the ability to view their underlying activity.
